Bicycles on the TCL network
Metro and Funicular
Bikes are allowed at all times on the C line of the metro and the funiculars.
Tramway
Bicycles are allowed at the following times:
- Monday to Friday: before 7am, between 9am and 4pm, after 7pm
- Weekends and public holidays: all day
Access to streetcars with a bicycle is free, provided the holder has a valid and validated travel pass.
Tram access conditions:
- Maximum 2 bikes per car equipped with a double door (Specific signage indicates authorized locations and adapted doors)
- Priority to passengers on foot, people with reduced mobility (PRM) and all vulnerable persons
- In case of overcrowding, the bike holder must leave his/her seat or wait for the next vehicle
- The folded bikes are allowed on the entire network, without restriction.
Urban and intercity coach
The transport of bicycles is prohibited on all lines of the TCL network, with the exception of part of the regular urban and intercity coach lines(see detailed list).
Some vehicles allow bicycles to be carried in the hold or via rear bike racks, subject to available space, after agreement with the driver. Any type of bicycle is authorized on board, except two- or three-wheeled bicycles, bicycles fitted with a trailer or hitch or cargo bikes and recumbent bicycles
Authorization times on regular urban routes:
- Monday to Friday, except from 7 am to 9 am and from 4 pm to 7 pm and on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays all day.
Long-distance lines :
- Some coaches have bike racks, allowing up to 5 bicycles to be carried free of charge
- If the vehicle is not equipped or if the spaces are full, the bike can be transported in the hold, subject to available space and the driver's agreement

Navigône
Bicycles may now be taken on board the new electric boats, up to a limit of 6 bikes per boat.
